MEET CAROLYNE

Hi! I'm Carolyne—a certified yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, but more importantly, someone who's passionate about making self-care and emotional wellness feel accessible and relatable. My journey with mindfulness started in my early 20s when I was looking for ways to handle the constant overwhelm from emotions, sensitives, and social situations. I always felt like I was out of sync with the world around me.

Things finally made sense when I was diagnosed with autism at 30. Suddenly, everything clicked. I wasn't "too sensitive" or "overthinking"—I was just wired differently, and that's okay! Receiving that diagnosis felt like I finally got permission to understand and embrace my unique way of experiencing the world.

I quickly realized how much I needed simple, accessible tools to help me feel more grounded and in control. That's why I started creating short, easy-to-follow mindfulness practices designed specifically for people like me—those who sometimes feel overwhelmed navigating the highs and lows of daily life.

My goal is to support other autistic and neurodivergent individuals with tools to help make navigating emotions a little smoother, no matter where you are on your journey. Because we all deserve to feel understood, supported, and a little more ease in our skin.

BENEFITS OF MINDFULNESS & YOGA

Better Handle on Emotions

Mindfulness and yoga practices make it easier to notice and manage emotions before they get too overwhelming. This can help cut down on meltdowns or those intense feelngs that can seem to come out of nowhere.

Calming the Sensory Overload

Deep breathing and grounding exercises can help dial things down when lights, sounds, or a lot going on becomes too much. It's like having a built-in "reset button" for when everything's too intense.

Better Connection with Your Body

Gentle yoga postures help increase motor skills and build a stronger sense of where your body is in space, which can support coordination, and just overall feel more comfortable in your own skin.

Helps with Focus and Attention

Mindfulness tools can make it easier to stay present and pay attention even when your mind wants to wander. It's great for finding that little bit of calm to get through tasks or a busy day.
